Frequently asked questions

Can I access the other Les Méditerranées campsites during my stay?

Yes, as a client of Les Méditerranées, you have free access to the activities and infrastructures of the 3 establishments.


Do we have to bring our own sheets and towels?

No, sheets and towels are included in all our accommodations, except if you have rented a COSY accommodation. However, you can rent a set of sheets and towels on site (22€/person/week). For a rental of 3 nights or less, the price of the kit is 4 € per night/person.

Are barbecues allowed?

Charcoal barbecues are strictly forbidden. Only electric barbecues are permitted.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are allowed on camping pitches and in all rental units, except in categories 1 and 2. In rentals, a maximum of 1 dog or 2 small dogs (under 10 kg each). Dogs must be kept on a leash and vaccinated (must be presented on arrival).

Between 01/07 and 31/08, dogs are only allowed on the beach in the following areas:

50-metre stretch on either side of the Chemin du Littoral.
50-metre sector on either side of chemin du Pous.
50-metre stretch on either side of chemin des Baigneurs.

The presence of a dog on the campsite is charged at €7 per day per dog on a pitch and €9 per day per dog in rentals. Self-service bag dispensers are available for dog waste.

What happens if we arrive late on our arrival day?

Arrivals are from 12 o'clock in the rental accommodation (access to the accommodation is guaranteed by 5pm at the latest) and 12 o'clock in the pitch, until the reception closes at 8pm. After this time and on presentation of your identity card, the keys to your accommodation will be given to you by the security service at the campsite entrance gate. In this case, the administrative formalities are carried out the next morning at the reception.

What is the earliest time we can leave the campsite on the day of our departure?

The gates are open from 7am. For pitches, you must leave before 11am. For rentals, departures are before 10am. There are no more appointments for the inventory of fixtures. If the accommodation is left in a clean condition and the inventory is checked, the deposit will be returned.

For any departure after 10am, you may be charged an extra day.

Is there a doctor?

The nearest doctor's surgery is 1km from the campsite (open from mid-June to mid-September). Outside this period, a list of local doctors can be found on the TIPIZ application or in the welcome booklet given to you on arrival by the reception.

Do you have WIFI?

The campsite is fully covered by WIFI, however, for pitches and depending on the range of rentals, WIFI is not free. Several rates are available, decreasing according to the duration (see terms and conditions on the TIPIZ application or at reception). A free service is available in common areas.

WIFI is included in the COLLECTION, SIGNATURE and PRESTIGE ranges.

Can I be visited on site?

Access to the campsite is controlled. You will be wearing a bracelet to prove your status as a guest. A visitor must go through the reception to pay the fee if he/she stays for more than 2 hours or if he/she wishes to access the swimming pools and entertainment. The parking of the visitor's vehicle will be done outside the campsite or with payment subject to availability (see reception).

Are the accommodations equipped with television sets?

Yes, all our accommodation is equipped with television sets.

Are water slides regulated?

Of course they are! Just like our water park, which is supervised from the first to the last day during opening hours (10am-8pm). Access to the slides is allowed to anyone over 1.30 m tall who can swim, otherwise they must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by their parents or a legal guardian.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Accepted are: Cash (only in euros - within the limit of 1,000 euros for payment of a stay), bank cards (VISA and MASTERCARD only), French bank cheques (except on site).

Is it possible to rent bikes on site?

Yes, our partner Thau Cycles offers a wide range of bikes. They will also show you the most popular walking routes such as the banks of the Canal du Midi or the Lido cycle path linking Marseillan-Plage to Sète.

What is the nearest train station?

The nearest train station is in Marseillan-Plage (2 km), where stops are infrequent. Agde station is 8 km away and is better served by the TGV.

What are the nearest airports?

Béziers - Cap d'Agde airport (17km away) has regular flights to London, Bristol, Manchester, Düsseldorf, Stockholm and Paris-Beauvais. Other nearby airports are : Montpellier, Perpignan, Carcassonne, Marseille and Toulouse.

How far is the town centre from the sea?

The centre of Marseillan-Plage is less than a kilometre from the campsites.

Le Nouvelle Floride and the Beach Garden have direct access to the beach.
The Charlemagne is 200 m from the sea via the Nouvelle Floride.
Shops and catering facilities are available at all three campsites.

Is it possible to book a rental and put a tent on the pitch because we are more than the maximum capacity?

No, this is not possible. You will have to reserve an additional pitch.

Is the tourist tax due for the whole season and when must it be paid?

Yes, it applies from the opening to the closing of the campsite, but only concerns people aged 18 and over (0.86€/night). The tourist tax is paid when the balance is paid, i.e. at least 30 days before the date of stay.

What is the Eco-Participation?

Our operation is subject to taxes for the extraction of natural resources (clean water) and for the reprocessing of waste (waste water, household waste, recyclable bulky items). This is a budgetary charge to compensate and raise awareness (0.39€/pers. over 18 years/night).

Can I make special requests when I make a reservation?

Yes, when you make your reservation, you can express your wishes concerning the location (shade, sun, close to the sanitary facilities, etc.) in the section "Your number plate // Your special wishes".

Is it possible to learn to swim on site?

The pool manager is authorised to give swimming lessons. He can, on request and outside his supervision hours, provide this service for a fee (see him directly).

Do you offer safes?

There is a safe in all our cottages. If you are on a bare pitch, you will find individual secure lockers for rent at the reception. They are accessible during the opening hours of the reception (8am-8pm).

Is it possible to iron your clothes?

An ironing board is available for self-service in the sanitary blocks. We can lend you an iron against a deposit at the reception.

Are there any driving times on the campsite?

Yes, you can drive your car from 7 am to 11 pm. Outside these hours motor vehicles are not allowed.

Are the restaurants accessible to outsiders?

Yes, the restaurants are accessible to outsiders.
The water parks and entertainment are strictly reserved for wristband holders.

Where can I find the list of markets?

You will find it on the TIPIZ application or in the welcome booklet that is given to you on arrival.

From what age are children admitted to the Mini-Clubs?

The Mini-Clubs are open to children from 5 to 12 years old.

Is there a teenagers' club?

Yes, there is a teen club at Nouvelle Floride and one at Beach Garden. Whether you stay at Nouvelle Floride, Beach Garden or Charlemagne, you can enjoy our two teenage clubs. The teenage clubs are only open in July and August.

What is the best way to book or get a quote?

We are unable to respond to requests for availability by e-mail. They vary very quickly and a significant exchange of information is often necessary to satisfy your wishes.

Are the services open outside July and August?

All services (entertainment, catering, shops, spa, etc.) are offered from the first to the last day of opening.

Are the campsites accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Yes, access for people with reduced mobility is possible. For specific information, please call before booking.

Are the sanitary facilities equipped for people with reduced mobility?

Yes, some dedicated toilets are equipped according to the standards in force in order to welcome people with reduced mobility.

Is it possible to hire a baby kit? What does it include?

Yes, it is possible to rent a baby kit during your stay* for 28 € per week. The kit includes a baby bed and a high chair. It is free of charge in SIGNATURE and PRESTIGE rental except in July and August. *Subject to availability
